The Oliver collection makes use of Murano's long tradition of colored glass, but in a new way. When filled, the color at the bottom of each glass is diffused through the liquid, distinguishing each piece. For particular pieces, the colored circles also provide the connection between vessel and stem. The vases incorporate the traditional tessere (mosaic) technique on contemporary shapes of sandblasted colored glass.
